Hop Scotching in Seattle

By | Apr 1, 2012

Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF) presented a  Hop Scotch Spring Beer & Scotch Festival at their April event.

This was an innovative premier beer, Scotch and wine tasting experience, indoors at the famous Fremont Studios.

Hop Scotch is a benefit for the Seattle International Film Festival whose mission is to create experiences that bring people together to discover extraordinary films from around the world. It is through the art of cinema that we foster a community that is more informed, awake and alive.

The malts on show included Glenmorangie, Glenfiddich, The Isle of Jura, Auchentoshan, Springbank, Ardbeg and visitors were able to enjoy a flight of the six whiskies for $15.  At that price we think  the Seattle Hopscotch must have ben a great success. Maybe they’ll screen Whisky Galore next year.
