Eat Bute
2011 will be the fourth year of the EAT BUTE Festival. A celebration of the best produce from the region’s food producers & craft artisans, eatBute is a food initiative that was instigated by the Mount Stuart Trust back in 2008. The project aims to promote the abundance of good, fresh, local produce available on the Isle of Bute and in the wider Argyll region.

EAT BUTE is a key event in both the Isle of Bute and the Scottish Festival Calendar. The concept is promoted throughout the year and a programme of Bute Food and Craft Markets are held at Mount Stuart every few months.

The EAT BUTE Festival is the annual celebration of the initiative. Set in the grounds of Mount Stuart. This years event will feature a Victorian Market setting, live music, traditional Hog Roasts plus activities for all the family
